Manor Chare · Newcastle upon Tyne

One shared record for everyone at Manor Chare.

Meeting agendas and minutes, who’s on the committee, and how close we are to formal recognition — kept in one place, so we all work from the same facts.

What the association does

Gives leaseholders a collective voice with the freeholder and managing agent on service charges, repairs, insurance and how the building is run. Once formally recognised, the landlord has to consult the association on major works and management.

Who can join

Membership is open to leaseholders of Manor Chare who pay a variable service charge — one vote per flat. Residents who rent are welcome to have access to notices and minutes, though only leaseholders vote.

How access works

Access is by invitation, so only people connected to the building can see minutes and contact details. If you don’t have an invitation yet, contact the committee with your flat number.

Working towards recognition

To become a Recognised Tenants Association, at least 50% of the qualifying leaseholders must be members — one vote per flat. Every flat that joins moves the marker.
